A Jovial Full Moon

Firstly, I apologise for the brevity of this post and the absence of horoscopes. I hope the below will at least be of some utility.

Today's Full Moon has, as my good friend Amanda pointed out, proved something of a callback to 2023. It took place at 5+ degrees Leo and Aquarius, squaring Jupiter (currently at 6+ degrees Taurus) along with the 5+ Taurus degree, in which Mercury and Jupiter both stationed direct last year. The Full Moon of late October 2023 also occurred at 5+ Taurus-Scorpio. All this has invested that one small part of the zodiac with a lot of significance.

Lunations occurring three months apart do tend to square one another - albeit not always within six arc minutes, as these two did - but there are other commonalities worth mentioning. For example: thanks to an interim Mercury retrograde phase, both charts contain a Mercury-Mars conjunction; one in Scorpio, one in Capricorn. Mercury and Mars together combine thought and activity; during their meetings, we have an opportunity to grasp ideas and truths more quickly, and act on our understanding.

The presence of Jupiter is also making itself felt pretty strongly; Jupiter's late 2023 retrograde phase forges another connection between this moment (not yet a month since the big planet stationed direct) and the prior autumn. Traditionally, Jupiter was called the greater benefic, and his visits do tend to infuse something of softness and 'joviality' into our lives. We find that, despite the little rubs and inconveniences, life is actually pretty good; or at any rate there is hope. We feel the blessings of Divine forces in the world, many times more potent and clearer-sighted than we could ever be. We can rest our minds on their existence, and know the healing power of faith.

In the times we are now in, that seems to me worth much.

There is really little I can add, except this: the key to Jupiter's power, and indeed to pretty much everything else, is love. Generosity, compassion, empathy, friendliness; love of all kinds. Love is the one great antidote to the challenges we are facing; the light that drives out ignorance and prejudice; the bridge that joins us together; the most nourishing food of the soul. Spread love in your life however you can: in all the ways, large or small, that offer themselves. Bring it forth and multiply it. Let it cover the Earth and bathe everything in its glow.

My love to you, dear reader: may you be blessed.
